What Nash did before?

Where did we come from?

Nash & Co. was officially established in 2018, but it was initially originated from decades-lasting business called Yanto Pottery. Founded in 1989, Yanto Pottery started as a small terracotta production without a store until a goverment program helped to scale the business. In years that follow, Yanto Pottery grew to be an terracotta studio that focused on exporting our items abroad as well as fulfilling wholesale orders locally.

Why did we change?

The rebranding of Yanto Pottery to Nash & Co. happened because we want to refresh our target market that is more modern. While still catering to foreign market in wholesale orders, we are now also expanding our customer base to retail, online orders from people who love to decorate their spaces and houses with our items. We’re still the same company with the same base, just with a new canvas of business and extra boost of creativity.

Why did we start our business?

Where did we start?

Nash & Co., and its initial from of business, was originally created because its founder had a deep affinity with the art of pottery. Born and grew up in the middle of a village full of crafters just like most members of his family, he wanted to do more than just creating and selling but sharing his goods beyond a small area of his region.

Where it leads us?

He wanted for his products to remind those who bought it that there is always simplicity in beauty, a value that we still hold until now, and that a well-decorated space can elevate the mood of a room and a self. And he wanted for more people to be able to beautify their space with his designs, hence his progression as a regional seller of pottery to an owner and leader of a pottery production and exporter business which is now Nash & Co.

Why are we unique?

Aside from the basic of black and white, a lot of our products are given the finish with the selection of colors that we carefully choose. You can see the range we can do with only seeing the pictures of our products here in our instagram page (@nashandco.id).

Why it might look different?

However, you know that photo, lighting, and editing may sway some colors. While most of them looks almost identical with the true products, there are certain colorings that looks slightly different. This is mostly color that are of darker shade. So, if you’re concerned, please ask us about the color similarity.
